I can’t tell you about my dream.
This thought I woke from does much cap
My longing and suffering from things induced
By remote realms of imagination.

I can’t tell you one detail.
This mind misgives frames of pictures
My heart assembled from fragments and snippets
Of swift moments of admiration.

I can’t relate to you this late exploit.
This jungle of thought still does preclude
My wild discovery of some exotic lore
By far and convoluted destination.

Don’t ask, my darling, don’t ask.
Some things are better left peacefully unturned
Covered, hidden, isolated, and veiled
From sweet appeals and solicitation.
