Hey all, I've read huckleberry finn a couple times, and I have really enjoyed it. Unfortunatly, I now have to write about five essays on the book. One of them is, "Discuss the Satire in Jim's money situation." I get it, but I'm clueless as to how i can elaborate on this for one page writing. Any ideas?

Hmmmm...
You could do one of two things
1. you could discuss how Twain satirizes the old south's faithful trust in superstitions. You can either discuss it's ridiculousness or the odd fact that many of the superstition's come true, indicating that perhaps Jim's reading of signs is not as ridiculous as it seems.
2.The other strain you could follow is discussing Twain's satirization of greedy white people that take advantage of African Americans (blind confidence in others concerning investment matters).
3.Twain satirizes Jim's unconventional thinking that would take literally the preacher's announcement of getting his money back 100X, associating the church's promises with that of the stock market.
