As it was a disguised opossum
Warm frameworks overhead
Drips beautifully melodically
Like a veil discarded

Where once Snakes sun-rested
Singing of colours unseen
Dancing in harsh weather
Preening wearily under green meltwater
Droplets of life, discarded barbecues

Perfume boils with charming
Life; spangling angles changing
Pitch with graceful discords
of echoic Triceratops falling
Rotting the mulch softly
Into the spinning blades of chromium.

Transient thoughts end in half-light,
