So I am studying Hardy's poetry worrks for my AS Level. I have to say I am growing to like him despite his often pessemistic view on love and life.
His best poem in my opinion is 'The Convergence of the Twain'. It has such strong imagery and the titanic and the iceburg are great metaphors, for whatever the reader wishes to interpret the effects that men and women have upon one another.
Anyone got any thoughts?
