hey, can someone please give me a short summary on emerson's self-reliance, some parts are a bit confusing!! TIA..

well i dont really understand what the whole transcendant stuff is..

^^ in that part is the iron string just referring to the general
actions, ideas, etc. of all mankind?

i guess the main idea of "self-Reliance" is that you should create yourself, not try to find it? that you should follow your own heart and instincts not those of others? Maybe?? hehe..
