From one time till next,
you see the difference
within these eyes.
It hasn't been a year,
oh how I've aged.
through body and soul,
I feel the same.
Yet something has changed.
i see things more clearly.
I see the world,
I've aged in mind,
I've aged in pain.
I can't say what in means
to have lived my life.
Oh how young, yet so old.
The body is young,
still the soul is so old.
