I quite respest Wordsworth for having a courage to change his opinion even though it earned him the anger of self-righteous younger generation of romantic poets but the question i wanted to ask is : "did he in portraying his characters, keep the second half of the promise and trace any eternal human passions with intent of provoking pleasure and ameliorating affections?"Here i think the answer is no as Words worth himseld did not follow the rules of his theory what do you think??
