THE UNDEAD
I belong to the Undead
One with vampire, werewolf, witch and warlock.
Zombie stares look lidlessly back from my mirror
Poison is my antidote, fetch the wolfsbane
Embrace me in your cold clutches
Welcome me to your exclusive club
I belong already, but initiate me if you must
If any blood is left, drain it from my neck
I’ll wear the fang marks as my insignia
It’s so simple now,
I have no search to undertake for the bullet or knife
No plan to carefully execute, no fear lest I bungle the job.
What have I to do with death, suicide or mortality?
I, proud member of the fellowship of the damned?
Sindhu

I suppose you can guess what sort of a mood I'm in when I wrote this! Pease give me your comments- this is one ofthose "spontaneous poems" and I'dreally like to know how it works.
BTW, this was partly inspired by Drwen's Echoes of tomorrow and Fayefaye's End of the day and I'd like to thank them.

I love the rythm of these lines. They set the tone, and make the piece dark and suggestive.

I think it worked well!

Three score and alliteration to booth!
Yep, it just have to be good.
Works like a drug on an emotional reader.

And the first one is for free. Soon she´ll be forcing me to pay. Then I´ll be in trouble.

I only wish I could find a place that sells it in the states. Where it doesn't cost a fortune. :D

Would you beleive I was just having a Kubla Khan moment when I wrote the poem? Without the opium? Sigh- I guess not! Think about it though, it works out much cheaper if nothing else! ;)

I could whip up a panacea, unless you are content.

Don't wait to long. The apteryx bill doesn't keep very well.

Ah, that was pretty good. Somewhat of a fantasy storyline thing happening in that. Glad to have... inspired, I suppose, something not too similar.

Great Scott- I think I'll have to summon a voodoo specialist! Seriously though, Thanks! :)
