“Angry Formerly Named Me”
I used to be such a hatful being.
Driven only to cause pain to others.
I wanted everyone to feel pain I never knew.
And made many feel that suffering.
I am changed now. A self inflicted change.
Grown; bloomed from that pain to a greater glory.
Glory known as compassion. Compassion and substance.
I have no known the pain I caused, and lived it.
I sometimes wish I could change what I did.
Then I come to realize I wouldn’t be who I am…
…If it was not for the pain I caused and the karma brought with it.
Karma is a brutally bitter and I love it…
