I'll start this topic off with two related errors:
In the searchable online Othello, Act V. Scene II has
"othello cassio did top her; ask thy husband"
and in the very first scene of the play, "an old black ram
Is topping your white ewe".
These instances should be changed to "tup" and "tupping" ("tup" being an Elizabethan word meaning "copulate with"), unless I'm mistaken (and so would be the OED and an old teacher of mine).
Can this be fixed?
