the Army

My buddy, who is stationed at Fort Sam Houston (which is just beyond the fringes of San Antonio) told me something funny enough that I thought it was worth posting here.

Me: Really, what is there to do in the Army?

My buddy: They built a waterpark on base. It's pretty fun.

Me: That's weird.

My buddy: When we're out doing field exercises in kevlars and m16's you can see waterslides looming in the distance.

Me: Heh, I guess Uncle Sam has a pretty wry sense of humor.

heh. D they made lots of jokes like that in south park about the vietnam war. i didn't think they'd actually give them waterslides though. that's pretty funny.
