feather

a feather in the water
no longer floats the sky
forgotten in the murky blurr
where it's been left to die
in the quiet beauty
of a weightless grave
an image of purity
thats just too late to save
and as it sinks in silence
the feather starts to cry
for it plunges to the darkness
of a life beneath the sky

there is so much to this poem, i find it relates well to a poem i just wrote.

Really? You should post that poem, I'd be interested in reading it. There's alot of meaning to me personally in this poem and i'm glad you read into it deeper then its literal meaning. :-)

well to be quite honest, its called the lonliest corner in a bedroom. i have it posted, but i guess its not getting very many high marks... whether or not you feel the same about the relation between mine and your poem, if it was applied to my poem, it would have a very good relationship
