Avatars

How does one go about getting avatars, particularly making pictures that you find on the internet the appropriate size for avatar use? Also, are there any websites out there that have a library of avatars? Thanks!

I'm sure there are websites that have libraries -- I don't know of any though.

You need a graphics editing program to make them appropriate size.

Back when I had an avatar I just adjusted it in Paint (on Windows), and made it smaller. It was quite simple. Just a suggestion, if you don't want to put much effort into it.
