Anne and Gilbert

The relationship between Anne and Gilbert is phenomenal and a definite reflection of my own personal relationship with my boyfriend. The last chapter of each book makes me cry each time I read it. My boyfriend also is handsome, high achieving, and sweet. And I have red hair and he likes my nose of all things. The Anne story is so similar to my own (college included, but not the orphan part) that it has been a favorite since early childhood. Amazing, huh?
I would love to hear others' replies how the Anne story has touched their lives in one way or another.
