william blake and goya?

The romantics like William Blake and Goya are said to be emotional freaks. Do you agree?

Hello, dips.
In referring to William Blake and Francisco Goya, do you inquire of poetry or painting? I do not think Goya wrote poetry, but I say that only because I have seen none; maybe Goya poetry does exist somewhere.
Not quite calling myself an expert in analyzing paintings, I would not go so far to call Blake and Goya "freaks" of emotion; true, both, especially Blake, seemed much ruled by non-compulsive intuitive thought, but this seemed the essence of both first-generation and second-generation Romantics.
One can see some of the revolving thought in the painters' heads in their art, such as the dark expression of anger and near insanity in Goya's Saturn Devouring His Son (http://www.marxist.com/images/goya2/saturn.jpg), yet the gentle, warm quality of The Clothed Maja (http://casl.umd.umich.edu/hum/spanishco/15.Fabrica_Tapices_y_Goya/images/115Goya.MajaVestida.51266c.jpg) in contrast to "The Nude Maja," which I do not know if I can post on the public forum.
William Blake's paintings seem a little easier to decipher the highlighted emotion: the immense turmoil and sorrow of The Body Of Abel Found by Adam And Eve (http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/blake/abel.jpg), the compassion of The Ancient Days (http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/blake/ancient.jpg), or the fright and desperation of Nebuchadnezzar (http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/blake/blake.nebuchadnezzar.jpg).
