I was just wondering, don't you find some of the colours used to be a bit strong? Also, some of the site is damn near unreadable (i.e. clicking on someone's name to see, basically, blue on blue)

Hello Stewart welcome to the Literature Network.

I'd say yes it is a little difficult to read the text when one clicks on a members name and the blue text drop down menu is on dark brown (to me) background, but overall I like the colour scheme.

I should fix that drop down - but I like the orange overall. Its supposed to convey a nice warm feeling like sitting down in a big leather chair next to a fire with your favorite book.

Strange, as I have always thought of a very similar analogy. Apparently orange proves as the most distracting, eye-catching color, but this appears a more calm, warm color; I have always liked it. :D
