to keep within my reach
Like colors that seep
you bleed into me
confusing what's mine
nothing's confined
and i'm undone
drowning in your sand
searching for a hand
that will never come
so i wait
i suffocate
in your sandstorm

What a briliiant piece of work! I can't believe that people weren't raving, then. No wonder the poor Alissa isn't around any more. Work of that quality getting ignored is dreadful!

I agree. There must be so many other gems and perhaps if we post them, some past poets may return and grace us with more of their work
