Interesting - a good idea. :)
I feel surprised no one has thought of this before.

Is this thread relate to Scher's live chat thread in general chat section?

no, we wanted a chat room where we could all talk at the same time in real time. actually, i've only ever seen one. i think the thing that was the most different for me was that there were no separate boxes for each writer, so it was easier to follow conversations, more room to the page, if you will.

i love your avatar!

Thanks Ash :)

There's this link to chat room in pink floyd forum, which the admin created. So members could chat there, without the need to sign in to MSN messenger, Yahoo, or ICQ. Maybe that's what you reffering to. If it is, I think that's a great idea too :nods:

Nah it's free. But I have to say that they have some supporting members in that forum; the contribution starts from USD 5 - 25. Well, it's quite an old forum and have many loyal members . For supporting members, the forum display is completely free of ads.

Maybe one day, we'll end up like that? The loyal veterans of the literature network forums ;)

I have a hobby. I go to festivals on my days off and make mashed potato sculptures. Anything I don't sell I get to eat at the end of the day. I'm getting sick of mashed potatoes!

Does that count as a hobby Stan?

So is there a chat room on the horizon then? It would be a less productive hobby but probably better for our digestive systems (when taken a lot).
