With the exception of the first few posts, you guys are morons. Yes, the book can be a little boring at times, but the main point isn't what Chris said. Instead, it has a little deeper meaning than that: Philosophy is a great way to waste time, but all we are really doing is acting as convicts playing with their chains. We cannot know about our existence or destiny so we must live for the moment in order to maintain our futures. That should sum up the MAIN point.
