The ending I found was unexpected, but for me, this was due more to the fact that the narrative did not return to the first two narrators. The fact that there are 2 narrators. 2 of which are unnamed adds to the ambiguity of the text as a whole.<br>Some things I found relevant, but haven't completely figured out yet are:<br>the 3 narrators<br>the importance of the ghosts' appearances to CHILDREN<br>concept of seeing vs. not seeing<br>concept of time elapsement<br>self-projection of fears of the unknown<br>relationships between 2 females <br>symbolism of Harley St<br>Ignorance<br>narrator's inability to sleep<br>relation to Poe's story: The Tell-Tale Heart<br>sense of voyeurism<br>(As you can tell, i'm trying to figure out some smart things to say for an essay)
