Think about child abuse and how it haunts all it touches. Think about how many (families & others) have attitudes toward child abuse that mirror attitudes presented by certain characters toward the children. Think about how children keep certain secrets and why, and how when a story comes out, we still may not know "what really happened." Think about what is the power of naming the name.
