first off while I this book didn't render me helpless like one of today's super writers might, I found the chills running down my back troughout the story and myself looking into the shadows in the corners of my vision. <br> what you think is Vital makes you actually think and if you thought about it critcally you could actually come up with an educated guess on what james may have skimmed over and why. So before you go putting down the turn of the screw why don't you try reading about James first and finding out that all his novels/short stories are filled with ambiguity and critical thinking.
