Moll Flanders is Defoe's arrogant. rediculous tale of womanhood, motherhood, poverty, love and virtue. He misses the mark repeatedly and cannot seem to pull it together to give us a readable or entertaining story. This entire book is a waste of time and a misleading account of the 18th century. <br><br><br>
