English is not my first language, so I was afraid to try to read this classical work by James Joyce. I have found it easy to follow and the use of a new English is similar to what another great writer from Brazil (Guimarăes Rosa) does in Portuguese. James Joyce work is more universal than that by Guimarăes Rosa, what I believe is a great thing. <br>In fact, I've loved this book and I do not understand why so many people tell me it’s a difficult one to read. <br>If you have loved this book, I recommend you to read Sagarana by Guimarăes Rosa.
