How can there not be a single entry for one of the ten geatest novels ? OK, it's not easy to read (in some parts) but the struggle produces an end result that few other books do - an overwhelming sense of the inner lives of three people, three everymen/women, in every aspect. I read a great deal but I can also say that I am always reading 'Ulysses' because I can go back to where I left it last and immerse myself immediately in amazing fabric. Go ahead - give it a try - and if at first you don't succeed................
