I thought that 'Sons And Lovers' was average. I didn't really think it was easy to understand though. In my opinion, I think that Mrs Morel is a very sad woman. She is very controlling over Paul Morel and that is why he cannot seem to love another woman. I think that she must be evil as she doesn't let her son be happy with another woman, and she should feel very guilty about that. I'm glad she died, so at least Paul could get on with his life without her.<br>I thought that this book should be re-written in a more modern version so that people can understand and relate to it more. Anyone up for the challenge?
