I have started reading this book, and I am amazed. The real sincerity of lady Chatterley is impressive, and so is how Lawrence describes her feelings.

Sometimes I think that if I met Lawrence in real life I would not like him very much. But I can't deny that he has been one of the more honest writers, and at the end of the day, it's hard to dislike someone who is honest to themselves.
