I think this novel is a great work of art. It really shows the beauty of liturature and it is an example of todays modern works. I think anyone who is at least mature enough to appreceate liturature should read this book because it is very interesting and will keep you reading from beginning to end. I should strongly say that this book is intended for High school juniors and seniors because we are mature enough to read it, but if it is to be read by anyone younger, instructors should take special caution because some students may not be ready for the contents of this book. Long story short, great book and a story not to be forgotten. Thank you Thomas Hardy!
