Personally I feel that Tess , written by Hardy is a very good story for different reasons. Firstly this is a book that depicts life in England in the 19 th century. It also introduces traditions and nature which is especially rich in Wessex where the novel is set. The story is connected with Tess , a girl seduced by Alec. But the story is not only about Tess but about moral problems. It is about crime and punishment.
