hardy is such a magnificent writer. the way he develops tess as a character captures you from the beginning and keep you wanting more. the way that she handles situations with her innocence and ignorance causes you to want a great life but yet she never attains that. i recommend this book because it is very well written and though it was written years ago it still relates to you.
