I think The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde includes such a thing.

Check out Dostojewski's "The Idiot". It's only about 900 pages, but one of the most important works dealing with such affairs.

I know The Three Musketeers has that in it, but it's not very blunt.

Two more contemporary stories involving love triangles are The Floating Opera and The End of the Road, both by John Barth. I highly recommend them, especially the first.

"War and Peace" has a few love triangles in it. Most of them are interrelated in some way and the book is very good.

George Eliots -THE MILL ON THE FLOSS- is worthy of reading
when you wish for a love triangle-and even if you dont.
Some people tend to read it three times.

Thomas Hardy's "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" is one of the more famous works to have the two men/one woman scenario, and I think another of his novels, "The Return of the Native", does as well.

I would include in the list Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand where the heroine admires and loves two men,but finally chooses to love one and deeply admire the other. There are in fact three men who fall for her, in some way.

l'assomoir is one of my favourite books and has a bit of a menage a trois situation, certainly not love in the romantic sense but the book is definitely worth a read

Abel Sánchez, by Miguel de Unamuno.
Don Juan, plenty to choose from (Zorrilla, Lord Byron).
The Iliad, Homer (I know that it's not the main theme, but why not?)

All i can recall right now.

I currently reading Tess De' Ubervilles by Hardy, and so far I think it also deals about the relationship of 2 men and a woman.
