I read Brave New World recently for my Brit Lit class and I really wish I'd read it sooner. It is now my favorite non-series book. I think the basic plot of Brave New World, the love stories and such, are necessary but not that interesting, what really gets me is the themes of the book. Particularly the political themes. BNW is, to me, clearly bashes capitalism in near perfect form. It really woke me up as to how warped the capitalist ideology is.
