Huxley wrote this book in 1931...was he considered some kind of pervert back then or what? I mean in the 50's and 60's Elvis couldn't get away with shaking his hips on television, so how did this guy get this book published 20 or 30 years earlier?Even by todays standards this book is pretty sick. Many of my teachers believe this to be a great book( and it is captivating),but i believe it to be the extreme and twisted view of one man. <br><br> I see the comments of some people saying how scary it is how close we are to Huxley's society. All I have to say to that is: <br>I don't know what world you live in, but mine is not even close to the one expressed in this book.
