I am writing a research paper connecting this book with salinger's Catcher in the Rye. I think the main characters isolation plays an extremely impotrant role. Alienation provides the main motive behind the main characters actions. The book also delves into a psychological outlook on isolation. One can not stand alone against his atmosphere- and becomes the subject to self fullfilled prophesy. Not only does Huxley warn against the future he is warning that it will reach a point that even when some brave soul stands up against it's corrupt ideals they will not survive- thus there will be no individuality or solution for the ball will have already been put into motion.
