That means criminals who commit light crime, such as assault, steal, have

the right to ask for facilitators. Facilitator will arrange a meeting with the

victim for him. If the criminal could be forgiven or his victim could

understand his reason of his doing during this meeting, facilitator will

submit to judge a paper about the victim’s attitudes to the criminal.

Judge’s sentence will be given in reference to this paper, in other words,

whether the offender could win the compassion or understanding of his

victim decides his destiny.

The upholders praise the significant function of this process healing the

inner scare of our society. But some people wonder whether it will be a

method for criminal to lighten his punishment. An answer to this argument

is that it is well possible. In my view, it is an enlightening tactic to deter re-

offending, though it may be difficult to be spread in recent times.

My question:

Do you think this tentative process will be a universal trend to enlighten those unfortunate criminals?

Do you believe that one day the function of judge will be transferred into the function of priest?

Should we go back to a religious age and then we could live by a sort of true cord instead of unsuccessful punishment system?
