I found the book quite extraordinary and exquisitely pleasurable. Not only was it interesting for me to follow all of the twists and turns of a confused man's mind but I my heart wept when amidst the ocean of corruption I saw fragments of that wonderfully naiive youth that Dorian had once beheld. I found it immensely touching.
