Hello! I'm from Poland! I must admit that this book is one of the most complicated ones in the literature we have to cope with at school. But it doesn't mean that it's not worth reading. Just the opposite. Jim is one of us, he's a man. We all have ups and downs, we experience failures but we manage to start everything from the begining. On reading this book I realised that Jim had to fight not only with the world but also with himself. Honour-that's what he aimed at. And he won.
