Anne Shirley is the most fascinating child I've ever imagined through LMM's books. Actually, I share the same view as Marilla who wants Anne to stay as a little girl. But anyway, her charming characteristics were passed on to her children but not as charming as the little Anne Shirley a.k.a. Cordelia.
