We studied The Importance for A-level, and I completely love the story prehaps because it is my sort of humour. The whole story is created by a lie from Miss Prism but that is not made clear until act three! Nobody wants to tell the truth even Lady.B. Although Wilde sticks to the same humour all through the play you never know what to expect from the next epigram. This play has become one of my all time favourites.
