Darkness Falls(no relation to the movie)

As darkness falls i look around
At the fading summer sky, then at the ground-
The sun is quickly dissapearing, casting feeble rays on me
Closer nears my damnation, beginning of my eternity
The world is ending, tears well up in my eyes
My only consolation is that everybody dies
The lengths of shadows draw nearer to my soul
When darkness falls, my sins take toll
I want to scream, but i cannot find the voice
I can only stand still, i have no choice
If i could scream, who would hear?
My being quakes with unspeakable fear
Slowly oh so slowly, the shadows creep
Slowly oh so slowly i fade into a deep sleep
Their is no more pain, no more reasons to cry
Slowly of so slowly do i die
Now darkness has fallen, i breathe my last breath
Before i descend into death-

This creates what I think is a truly accurate depiction of death, without actually being there. Being in great pain, might inspire the same feelings, as one passing from the earth. Interesting…

Hmm..this poem talks of vulnerability, sadness, death, and despair.....
It makes me feel sad...But at least I can obtain some sort of feeling from it....Good Job!!! :D
