I read this book when I was 13, later when I was 21 and again a couple of years ago. The first reading (13) was more a exploratory read, thrilled me a bit, no real awareness roused.<br>The second was when I was in a real alcoholic stage, helped me a lot.<br>The last reading was when I was married, had a kid, changed my outlook, helped me again.<br>I think this is one to re-read throughout ones life.<br>A Similar book , though not a common one here , is Nevil Shute's 'Round the Bend'<br>
