I read this book in 1968 at the age of 17, it was recommended by a dear friend who could not evade the draft and was ready to go off to Viet Nam in spite of his objections to murder and war. He later desserted and went off to Sweden and became a citizen of that country. However, I am forever in debt to Vincent who led me to this book. It changed my life forever....it made me think and realize that life is this incredible journey to find ourselves and to forever strive to be one with the universe and how peaceful that life can be. At 17 years old and in 1968 that was quite an epiphany To this day the final goal still evades me but this journey has become my enounter with incredible people that have all affected my life. Vincent and Siddhartha changed my life forever...Thank you Vincent wherever you are!
