The only adjective I can think of to describe this book is amazing. Hermann Hesse created an amazing story using the mystique of the Orient. Siddhartha captivated my attention from beginning to end. The journey Siddhartha took on was one of a kind. There is not that many books based on the journey of self-realization that is as unique as this one.
That journey that Siddhartha experienced was amazing. It was interesting to see which temptations would be Siddhartha’s downfall. Fortunately for Siddhartha he was able to correct his ways and achieve oneness. Also to find out that he found his goal by listening to a river just boggled my mind. I thought that it couldn’t have been that simple. Sure enough Siddhartha was able to find peace in the book after spending years experimenting with his life. When I finished the book I ended up pondering the question, what kind of impression did this book leave on me?
