The theme of the book was difficult to decipher. l respect Joseph Conrad's masterly of the Queen's language, but for me as an African, l will not recommend the book for anybody who wants the theme of a book clearly established at the end of reading. lt is strange to understand how one can understand what Conrad's was saying if you have not studied anything concerning Carl Jung's psychoanalysis. Even that, you will still encounter pitfalls! Conrad not the best for me.
