this book has to one of the most confusing novellas that i have ever read and had to analyse. i found this book so boring i had to take a break and go do some of my pyhsics homework just to put my brain back in order. when i finally did finish it even though i absolutely hate its structure it did provide some things that i was able to thoroughly analyse and try and interpret. conrad was telling us about the evil that is in a person's soul, and the savagery of the africans etc. i think personally a better example of this is william golding's lord of the flies- which focuses on what happens when you remove a group of young people from 'civilisation'
