This book had a good point behind it.........but upton sinclair could have eaisly left out half of the book and gotten the same reaction. I don't think he needed to add all of that different language stuff in it. It made the book hard to understand. and the entire socialism part was hidden until you got to the end. i personally thought the book was a drag but what do i know i'm just a high school kid.
