Some bits of Ullysses are quite good. I liked the bit about the funeral. I particularly liked the bit where one of the characters was thinking of Queen Victoria, who was in mourning for about forty years. Now, it is difficult to imagine she was Ireland's queen too, whether they liked it or not. I think I like the bits where people are talking to each other, because I can follow those bits. The odd bit of pondering is alright too. It's the lengthy sections of mind wandering I am having trouble with.
