This is by far the greatest book I have ever read. There was so much detail that it overwhelms you. This is book has so many twists and turns that it is impossible not to love this book. Every time you are ready to stop it is so hard because you want to find out what happens next. I usually don't enjoy reading books, but I enjoyed this book. I especially like the way that Hugo used the character Cosette to bring out the true character in Jean Valjean, Marius, and Fantine. Without her we would have never gotten to know the real characters. Cosette brought out the contraversey and showed us how the characters were able to handle themselves under stressful situation. Overall, I would reccomend this book to anyone. Finally, don't be intimidated by the size of the book because Victor Hugo knows how to keep it interseting. Trust me.
