Les Miserables. Wow. I had heard about it, being a somewhat-actress, but I'd never seen it or read it. So, on a whim, I checked it out of the school library. Then, I went and rent the 10th Anniversary concert video. And wow. I was hooked. I bought the CD, and I'm dying to see the play. I love the Friends of the ABC, and I'm waiting patiently (okay, not so patiently) for somewhere to decide to put it on, so I can try out. Factory Girl? "Lovely Lady"? Sure. Whatever. I'll play anything. This is easily one of the most beautiful musicals I have ever heard and one of the most fascinating books I have ever read. When the lady at the video store told me that she had a friend who had the image of Cosette, the logo of the play, tattooed on his back, I thought 'Wow. Psyyychoooo.' But now that I've read it... though I don't think I'll be getting tattoos any time soon, it's hard to think of a way to express my love of this work.
