i have yet to read the novel but i did see the musical and i loved it. i own les miserables the dream cast and i watch it all the time. it is such a beautiful story of love, heartache, failure, triumph and death. i cant help but sing along to it i also have the cd even though i dont like it. my favorite character would have to be the revolutionary student enjolrus. he was the hero and leader. my favorite part of the play would have to be jean valjean singing what have i done, the best lines; <br>take an eye for an eye,<br>turn your heart into stone,<br>this is all i have lived for,<br>this is all i have known.<br>i can relate to it emmensly. so i will purchase the novel and read it soon. i will also try to convince my english teacher to do a novel study on les miserables.
